Hi my name is Shara Cooper. I am excited to be teaching pre-K this year at Peine Ridge Elementary! I live in Wentzville with my husband Wes. Most weekends you can find us enjoying time on the water, at our farm, or doing something fun in the outdoors. My family is very important to me. I have two sisters, one brother, and 14 nieces and nephews. I love being from a big family!

I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood,  Elementary Education, and Early Childhood Special Education from Lindenwood University. I have  a Masters of Teaching degree from Missouri Baptist University. This is my 15th year teaching for WSD. I previously taught at Barfield Early Childhood Center. Making a difference in little minds and helping them learn and grow into little humans warms my teacher's heart so much. 

I would also like to introduce Mrs. Kelly Rowan as the Instructional Aide in my classroom. This will be Kelly's 7th year as an IA in WSD. She spent one year at BTE in the Milestones program, 5 years at JES in special education and prior to that she worked in early childhood in a preschool classroom. Kelly lives in Wentzville with her husband Jim. She has 3 children.  Kaylee, Abby and her son-in-law jeff (who live around the corner with her 2 granddaughters), and Sam who lives in Nashville, TN.  Kelly is very excited to return to the early childhood world and help little ones learn and grow!

 Both Kelly and I are looking forward to working with the Peine Ridge Early Childhood Team and  filling our classrooms with lots of laughter, play, and a love for learning.
