Student Information System | Focus SIS

Focus School Software will be our upcoming student information system, School Year 24-25.  The Focus SIS portal provides access to the full spectrum of student information, including:

• Attendance
• Gradebook
• Report card grades
• Lunch Balance
• Required Forms

Student Learning Platforms

Canvas (6-12) is the student learning management system for grades 6-12. It is where teachers can post assignment information, class notes, etc. and where students can submit digital work and receive teacher feedback. As an observer, you can view due dates, feedback and more.

Google Classroom (3-5) is the student learning management system for grades 3-5.  Google Classroom allows teachers to create and distribute materials, assignments and provide feedback. 

To receive Guardian Summaries in Google Classroom, please reach out to your child's classroom teacher. 

Seesaw (K-2) is the student learning management system for grades K-2.  Seesaw allows students to show their learning in a variety of ways and share to the classroom journal. 

Seesaw may be used as a communication tool with families or classroom teachers may utilize other methods of communication such as weekly newsletters, etc.

1:1 Access Initiative

Students in the WSD participate in the 1:1 Access Initiative.  This allows us to provide each student with a device.

K-2 iPad
3-5 Chromebook
6-12 Chromebook

*Devices begin going home with students in Grade 6. Insurance is available for purchase at the start of each school year.
