As a staff, we believe a North Point wrestler should be prepared for success in life beyond the sport. Their experiences in wrestling should teach them how to overcome adversity, make sacrifices, and work towards long term goals.
It is our mission to help athletes in the program gain a thorough knowledge of the fundamental skills of wrestling, develop strategies that promote success on the mat, and provide ample opportunities for athletes to achieve their individual goals.
Our athletes will demonstrate good sportsmanship through being modest in victory and self reflective in defeat.
Our wrestlers are held accountable to the Grizzly 10, and we srtive for thenm to hold each other accountable to these standards as well. This sign is posted in the room and each wrestler touches the sign on the way in (before practice) and on the way out (after practice). This is a sign of commitment to having the best practice for the team possible while they are in the room, then putting "money in the bank" as they touch the sign on the way out. Making one more step towards acheiving their goals.
