Transcript Information
There is no cost to fill out a transcript request form. A parent or guardian must sign, unless the student is over 18 years old.
Here are some things to remember:
Official transcripts are mailed directly to your university in a sealed envelope.
Please be mindful of your deadlines. Kindly allow a 24-48 hour processing time by the Registrar, also allow 7 to 10 days mailing time to your university or college. Also, each college has their own processing time.
Self/personal transcript requests will receive an unofficial copy. The difference is it is not signed, stamped, or sealed. The academic information is the same, but most colleges will not accept unofficial copies. Colleges and universities prefer official transcripts directly from the high school.
Please check with your college before entering an e-mail address on the form. Some colleges might accept them via email, but some will NOT accept an electronic transcript. Checking before hand will speed up the process.
If you have extra documentation or a paper application, you may attach it to your transcript request form and turn them in at the same time.
For current seniors- you may request your transcript through scoir.com. Go to your scoir account, fill out the release, and list your school under the "applied" category. Your transcript will then be sent. See Dr Litzsinger if you have questions about scoir.com.
Parchment.com (third party service) - you will need to register on their website
** Parchment will send your official transcript electronically, securely, and confidentially to the institution you designate. If the transcript is sent via email, it is not guaranteed to be secure. **
