This is my first year as an SLP at Widefield! I attended the University of Delaware and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Science, and minors in Spanish and Disabilities Studies. Also, I received a Master's of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Emerson College. My clinical practicum in graduate school included the school-age population, outpatient rehabilitation, early intervention and feeding and swallowing disorders. During my professional career, I have had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of populations and disorders across telemedicine, school-based and private practice settings, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Intellectual Disability, receptive and expressive language disorders, fluency disorders and articulation disorders. I believe in fostering collaboration among our team of students, families, teachers and related services professionals!

This is my 34th year working as a speech/language pathologist. I have worked inpatent acute care, rehabilition, pediatric rehab and NICU. If I'm not at work, you will find me on a bike trail or a pickleball court.

Hello! I'm glad you're here. I am an ASHA certified speech language pathologist who has been working with school-age students for over 20 years. I like to stay up-to-date on issues impacting our profession and students. I have served as the Vice President of Public Policy and the ASHA State Education Advocacy Leader on the Colorado Speech Language Hearing Association board. I am full time at Pinello Elementary. When I'm not working with students, I love to hike and bike around our beautiful state. I have a four-legged assistant who is often by my side.

Hello Team! My name is Manon Girard, an ASHA certified Speech Language Pathologist. I am originally from Florida, however, I moved to Atlanta, GA where I am currently living. I completed my CFY + 1 year in a local school district from 2020-2022 and loved it! Covid was a tried and challenging time for everyone, however, heightened my interest into the endless possibilities with teletherapy. I have now used a hybrid model throughout my professional career and feel confident in delivering effective, fun, and engaging teletherapy services to all age groups and their families/support personnel. Hi, my name is Veronica Knepp. I am an SLP at Sunrise Elementary. I have been an SLP for 13 years. However, this is my second year in Widefield. I have worked with a variety of students from preschool to age 21. My husband and I have been married for 12 years and also have an 9 year old daughter and two dogs. I enjoy using evidence-based practice and my 10-years of school-based experience to bring out better communication skills in our students.
