Janitell Physical Education Expectations
Janitell Junior High Physical Education will look different than years past to start. All classes will begin with Physical Education and will use Schoology for all information. At Janitell we believe that an active student is a healthier, happier student and that an active lifestyle as a child lays foundation for an active adult lifestyle. Below are some of the expectations and goals of our program; we look forward to another fun and educating year in Physical Education!
All students are expected to demonstrate the following:
RESPECT:
- Yourself (By working hard and safely every day to improve your fitness level and knowledge of fitness)
- Others (Always encourage, never put down)
- Equipment (By using it for intended purposes)
RESPONSIBILITY:
- Each student will be required to login to schoology during their block time.
- Each student will be required to complete the assignments/ activities for the day.
- Each student will need to be dressed in appropriate attire for exercise during the block. This attire should follow the school dress code.
READINESS:
- A positive attitude can go a long way, always be positive and try!
GRADING:
- To begin the semester, grading will be based on participation in activities and assignments provided on Schoology. - Grading criteria could slightly change based on COVID-19 regulations and the change to in-person learning.
Absences/ Injuries
- Students must have a doctor’s note to be excused for an extended period of time.
