Counselling at École Luxton School

It's so hard to believe the 2023-24 school year has drawn to a close. If you are seeking counselling services through the summer, please see the "Resources" tab in the menu for links and contact info.
Have a safe, restful and wonder-filled summer!

Ms Z.
Ms. Zeglinski, our École Luxton School counsellor, will be working full-time again in the 2024-25 school year.

Elementary School Counselling services may include individual, paired, small group, whole class, and/or whole school supports. As much as possible, Ms. Zeglinski's approach is proactive, supporting students with social emotional learning, mental health, accepting & celebrating diversity, inclusion, strategies for co-&-self regulation, developing positive behaviors, and more!

As needs arise, Ms. Zeglinski may also see students individually by self-referral, peer referral, teacher referral, or parent/guardian referral. Sessions are usually 20-30 minutes long, so as not to take too much time away from class.

Ms Zeglinski may be reached

by email: kzeglinski@wsd1.org

by phone: 204-589-4368

or by Google Form.

Letters will be sent home in certain circumstances, such as for participation in pre-planned, group counselling workshops (usually 6-week sessions on various themes).
