School -- Expectations of Students-- Room 204 Grade 5/6
This year is going to be great!
I look forward to working with the new students of room 204 this year. Grade 5/6 is a year of growth and changes. Together we will work hard, learn a lot and then in June, celebrate all the learning that has been accomplished at Greenway. Students in Room 204 are expected to adhere to Greenway
School’s Code of Conduct at all times: Being safe, Being respectful, Being a learner
Students in Room 204 are expected to adhere to the classroom’s own unique Respect Agreement. Which are created by the students of room 204 in the 1st week of school.
If a student repeatedly breaks the Classroom Respect Promises, room 204 has created and agreed to a series of appropriate consequences:
A student may need to work at Mr. Miller’s table to refocus and reflect upon what they have done.
A problem solving meeting with Mr. Miller may take place.
A student may need to apologize verbally or in writing during all or part of recess.
A student’s parents may be notified, especially if they are physically or verbally abusive to anyone in the school.
