Out of a passion for writing and creating, here at Meadows West School we want to give students the opportunity to publish writing for the public to enjoy.
The Meadows West Writing Studio is an extracurricular group of students from all grades who wish to write together and publish pieces of writing based on themes and interest.
Writing comes in all shapes and sizes and it is important for students to build confidence in writing as they publish their pieces.
A variety of different pieces from all different grades will be published and shared with the community. The writing shared in this journal are authentic pieces generated by the students where they are at in their writing journey in the Writing Studio. Please respect the time and effort it took to write these pieces created by our learners.
Additionally, each issue will begin with a different teacher author featured on page 2.
The intent of this studio is to get students, adults, and possibly alumni and community members from Meadows West School to write and publish pieces of writing.
