Students interested in running for office that will be seniors for the 2026-2027 school can choose to run for student body officer - the president and vice presidents of the entire student body - for senior class student government, or for both. Students must declare their candidacy for office before the elections begin.
The following are the requirements of the Class Officer Digital Candidate Commitment for West Field High School:
Leadership Experience Resume - a resume that showcases your skills, achievements, and potential as a leader
2025-2026 First Semester Transcript with GPA and Attendance - students must have and maintain a 3.0 GPA and demonstrate consistent school attendance
Teacher Recommendations - Google Form recommendations from three teachers, counselors, staff members, etc. (two must be from core teachers)
Candidate Video - no more than one minute showcasing the student, this will also serve as the election video (mp4)
Candidate Poster - create one digital poster that will serve as the election poster (jpeg or pdf)
Student Digital Signature - stating that the student has read the constitution for West Field High School and agrees to all terms and conditions therein
Parent/Guardian Digital Signature - stating that the parent/guardian has read the constitution for West Field High School and agrees to all terms and conditions therein
