Shelby has worked to help unify her team through thick and thin, since her Freshman year. Anytime problems or conflict arises, she sets to working getting things back on track and bringing the team together. She is kind to all and always there for pep talks pre race and helping athletes see the positives post race.
“This guy has GRIT! At the City County Championship race Eric was spiked (kicked in the shin by a metal spike) right at the beginning of the race, and ended up passing up everyone to be the overall champion for the boys. He always finds a little extra in the tank and digs deep every race.”

Our Wee Warriors Preschool teamed up with the library this week to bring Halloween magic (and just a tiny bit of creepiness) to our school! After reading the classic Where the Wild Things Are, students used their imaginations to design and color their very own creepy “wild thing” eyes.
Once finished, they snuck through the bookshelves and hid their creations all around the library — and now it feels like something is watching… 👀
Students and staff are invited to wander through and see how many spooky eyes they can spot. It’s a perfect blend of literacy, creativity, and Halloween fun!
