Coach Henderson Bird’s comments on why Sarah earned Warrior Mindset Athlete of the Month-
“Sarah is one of the most dedicated athletes we have had on Weber Swim in a long time. While she may not be one of the fastest athletes on the team, she was dedicated and showed up to work hard every morning this season. Despite challenges outside of the pool, Sarah was always willing to go the extra mile (no pun intended) in pushing herself to the next level.”
Coach Henderson Bird’s comments on why Jack earned Warrior Mindset Athlete of the Month-
“Jack has had one of the best attitudes this season. He was very committed to working hard and looking for opportunities to improve. One of the best moments this month was seeing Jack change his attitude from Region to State. At Region he was sick and was unable to perform to the best of his ability, but through some perseverance and grit these last two weeks, he has risen above where he was during Region. “

Weber Swim is the City-County Champions!
The Female Athlete of the Month is Kate Lang- (Cross Country - Junior)
Kate has been balancing drill and XC and doing a great job. She was the #2 runner and pushed our top girls to always work hard and try to be their best. Also, she is a super positive part of the team on a regular basis.
The Male Athlete of the Month is Alex Johnson - (Football - Senior)
Alex was 2/2 FG in a CLUTCH game against Bingham in the playoffs. He gave us the go-ahead lead in the 4th quarter to put us up 27-14 and ICE the game! Alex has been solid for us all year with his kicking game both with pat’s/ field goals and always giving us a great start on defense by putting the kickoffs in the endzone.
