Our Wee Warriors Preschool teamed up with the library this week to bring Halloween magic (and just a tiny bit of creepiness) to our school! After reading the classic Where the Wild Things Are, students used their imaginations to design and color their very own creepy “wild thing” eyes.
Once finished, they snuck through the bookshelves and hid their creations all around the library — and now it feels like something is watching… 👀
Students and staff are invited to wander through and see how many spooky eyes they can spot. It’s a perfect blend of literacy, creativity, and Halloween fun!
Way to go, Wee Warriors — we love seeing you make our school WILD! 🌙✨
Big shoutout to Mr. Webster and the Weber High Speech & Debate team for earning national recognition from the National Speech and Debate Association! 🎉 Our Warriors’ talent and dedication have placed us in the Association’s prestigious 100 Club, an honor reserved for schools demonstrating outstanding leadership, service, and communication excellence. This award highlights the incredible work Mr. Webster and his students do to build confidence, sharpen communication skills, and harness “the power of words to shape their world.” Way to go, Warriors — keep talking your way to the top! 💪🗣️🔥
Huge congratulations to Weber High’s own Health Science teacher, Ben VanBeekum, for completing his 50th marathon—and an incredible 18th St. George Marathon on October 4th! Ben’s dedication to the sport earned him a spot on the St. George Marathon Road of Fame. With an average finishing time of just 2 hours and 28 minutes across 18 races, he’s proven that Warriors don’t just run—they lead the pack!
Friday night was one to remember as we honored our seniors on the football team, in the marching band, and on the cheer squad during Senior Night! Despite a lightning delay pushing back the start of the game against Syracuse, our Warriors showed up for one another with energy and spirit. The evening was filled with celebration, recognition, and gratitude for the seniors who have dedicated their time and talent to our school community. Thank you, seniors, for your leadership and example—you will be missed!

This past week, students in Mrs. Christensen’s Forensics class put their new investigative skills to the test during a mock crime scene! 💥
Armed with cameras, sketchpads, and evidence bags, students learned how to:

🧪 Properly collect and handle different types of evidence
It was hands-on, detailed, and a ton of fun—giving students a chance to step into the shoes of professional forensic scientists. Warrior CSI skills = unlocked! 🧤✨

Ms. Bodily’s students got hands-on (and a little soapy) while learning about cell membranes with a bubble lab! 🧪✨
Using bubbles to model how membranes work, students stretched, bent, and experimented with those delicate films—just like the flexible walls of a cell. 🔬💡
There were plenty of laughs, a few bubble pops, and a whole lot of “aha!” moments as science came to life right in the classroom. 🙌
