Posting a virtual classroom creation on Canvas is really easy. After you post your creation, you can change it in Slides. Since it's a live link, the updates will happen immediately on Canvas. Follow these directions and screenshots.
Quick Directions:
*Once your Slideshow is finished, click on File and then choose Publish to the Web.
*Click on Embed and then the yellow Publish button.
*You will see the HTML code, copy this entire code.
*Go to Canvas and create a new page.
*Click on the HTML Editor link in the right corner. Paste the HTML code in the box.
*Click on Save and see the newly created page.
*When you edit, you can edit in the Slideshow and it will update in Canvas in real time.
Directions with Screenshots
Once your Virtual Classroom is finished, click on File and then chose Publish to the Web.
On the next screen, make sure you click the Embed option and then click on the yellow Publish button. You may get a message asking if you want to continue, click yes.
You will see HTML code for your Slideshow. Highlight this and click on CTRL C to copy this HTML code.
On a new page in Canvas, click on the HTML Editor link in the right corner.
Paste the HTML code into the text box by using CTRL V. Once you click on Save, you will see your virtual classroom in the newly created page.
Students will see the virtual classroom you created and they will be able to click on any links that you added. Once you are ready to change the links on your virtual classroom, change the links in the Slideshow and it will automatically update to the Canvas page.
Bonus Tip
If you want to change the size of your Slide, follow these directions:
Click on File
Click on Page Setup

If you want to get rid of the Slideshow bar at the bottom of the screen or change the sizing of the black bars at the side, follow this guide. You will change the HTML code and you will feel like a rocket scientist!!!
