NOVEMBER 2025
The medical anatomy classes were able to participate in a suturing lab as part of the Tissue Unit. Weber State University led the suture lab, which included reviewing layers of the skin as well as the healing process. Students also had the opportunity to try suturing.
In honor of Veteran's Day, Two Rivers High School students and faculty hiked Cold Water Canyon on November 6 to see "The Major," the large American flag hung in honor of veterans and Major Brent Taylor from North Ogden. They also had the honor of hearing from Brent Taylor's wife, Jennie, who encouraged them to "Figure It Out!" when things get tough!
Mrs. Anderson's financial literacy classes enjoyed playing a game of "Life" in the library at the end of mini-term 3!
Eight hardworking students graduated from Two Rivers High School at the end of mini-term 3. They were joined by friends, family, and faculty at a graduation lunch on November 21, 2025.
OCTOBER 2025
Several students enjoyed celebrating their MT1 academic success at the Incentive Fieldtrip to the Environmental Center on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2025. (Swipe through both picture carousels.)
Four published authors visited Two Rivers during its "AUTHORFEST," October 6-9! Students loved learning about history, grit, and improving their own writing.
Lady Larsen's art students spent hours creating this year's UNITY WEEK mural.
Two Rivers celebrated UNITY WEEK, Oct. 20-22, by wearing orange and crazy socks, eating lots of orange snacks, making friendship bracelets in the library, posting thank-you notes in the halls, writing encouraging messages on the sidewalks with chalk, posting pictures in front of our new mural on social media, and frosting and decorating sugar cookies. Trappers showed that they are UNITED in FRIENDSHIP!
Two Rivers Student Council completed a service project in October for McKay Dee Hospital, specifically for the children there. With donations from the community, the council made cozy blankets, custom coloring books, and cute greeting cards for children staying at the hospital.
Congratulations to Two Rivers' 16 graduates who completed their high school requirements at the end of mini-term 2! It was our pleasure to celebrate you at a lunch with some of the special people in your life.
