Fremont High School’s choir program is widely regarded as one of the finest in the state of Utah. The school motto—”Expecting Excellence”—is etched into our performances and our rehearsal atmosphere. Fremont choirs have performed with the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square, and featured as performers during the 2002 Olympic Games in Salt Lake City. They also performed during the rededication of the Utah State Capitol in 2008. These ensembles consistently receive superior ratings at region, state, and national choral festivals, as well as being featured in state music conventions.
Students in the choirs at Fremont are encouraged to participate in various other activities throughout the school, bringing the same dedication and tradition of excellence to every program and group with which they associate. Our members compete athletically on the track and football teams, participate in clubs such as ASL, and help design and produce our large-scale musical theater production every year.
It is our goal to continue, and improve upon, our reputation as a superior program. We hope you will join us in our journey, and take this opportunity to be a part of the highest award-winning program at Fremont High School—Fremont Choirs.
