What is VEX IQ Robotics?
The VEX IQ Challenge provides elementary and middle school students with exciting, open-ended robotics and research project challenges that enhance their science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) skills through hands-on, student-centered learning. VEX is a snap-together kit to make robot construct easy. A graphical software program (IQ Blocks) is used to program the robot.
How do I apply?

Applications are due March 24th.
When do we meet?
There will be a parent information meeting on May 16th. This is where you will be given all the information about the upcoming season.
Summer Camp: August 7 - 10 (Mon-Thurs) at SOJH
Tuesdays/Thursday after school 2:30 - 4:00 once school starts again in August 2023.
What will we be doing?
Build and program robots to compete in the game for the 23-24 season (game to be announced in May 2023)
Compete in teamwork and robot skills challenges
When are competitions?
Saturdays in October - February throughout Weber and Davis Counties
State Championship in March 2024
World Championship in May 2024 (Dallas, TX)
How much does it cost?
Club dues: $25
Camp fee: $10
