The drama/music theater department at Roy Junior High School will award scholarships to 8th and 9th grade students who wish to take a master class, workshop, summer youth productions or other theater-related class to improve acting skills.

The scholarship award is based on G.P.A. and enrollment in drama/music theater, or participation in 2 school plays

It is to be used for tuition in an acting class, or tickets for a professional production, and may cover some travel expenses depending on the circumstances. Applicants must be enrolled in classes at Roy Jr High or Roy High School for the upcoming academic year.

The scholarship will be disbursed for up to $1,000 per semester, and may be split between several individuals. It is to be used within 6 months after being awarded.

You should list the class, the cost, where it will be held, etc.
