The NAL Team consists of two groups, called the Buzzer Team and the Presentation Team.
Here is some information about what each team does:
Similar to trivial pursuit. Your team studies topics within four school subjects (i.e. English, Social Studies, Math, Science). During games, your team gains points by answering questions correctly. Questions are based on topics found within the study guide. See a sample study guide by clicking "Buzzer Team" at the top of this page.
Your team researches a topic (e.g. Salt), and then prepares a three- to five-minute presentation on the topic. These topics are generally persuasive, so you are trying to convince an audience to agree with you. See a sample presentation prompt by clicking "Presentation Team" at the top of this page.
