When students enter the classroom, they are asked to please remove any headwear. Headwear refers mainly to caps, hoodies, and beanies. I need to be able to fully see the students I teach, and also not have them be distracted by items they may try to bring into class. Students also need to remove any sunglasses they may be wearing. Of course, if a student's religious or cultural beliefs dictate that they wear scarves or head-coverings, they will certainly be accommodated.
