Teaching is my passion! I am beyond excited to work with you and your child! We are going to have a year full of fun, learning, and adventure! I cannot wait to see what the year has in store for us! I thought you might like to know a little bit about me.

I am married to my best friend, Andy. We have a six-year-old daughter, a four-year-old son, and a two-year-old daughter. We also have two dogs-our beagle, Belle, and chocolate lab, Rocky. My family takes up most of my free time, but some hobbies that I enjoy are camping, digital scrapbooking, photography, reading, soccer, and playing the piano.

I was raised in West Haven and attended Kanesville Elementary. I went to Fremont High School and graduated from Weber State in 2010. I am the second youngest of a family of six kids. My mom teaches first grade and is one of the main reasons I became a teacher.

I started teaching in 2011 at H. Guy Child, and in 2016 I made the best decision to move to Kanesville. I absolutely love teaching 3rd grade! Teaching is the most rewarding thing I have ever done in my life, and I strive for every student in my class to develop a love for learning and to become a life-long learner.

Before I earned my teaching degree, I worked as a computer technician for the Weber School District where I found my love for technology. With the world we live in, I feel it is critical for my students to discover that love too! The use of technology is a daily part of our classroom!

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. It is incredibly important to keep communication open between us and I would love to talk to you whenever you feel the need! I look forward to an amazing year together!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Haws
