1, 2, 3, 4, we declare a penny war! NOJH Penny War was a success! We raised funds to help our fellow Knights in need this season. 9th grade was the winner!
Our officers hosted a winter dance for the students this December. The theme was Grinchman Gala!
Our amazing counseling department, oops I mean Santa and his elves, came to visit NJOH! They came by every class and handed out candy canes. It’s a favorite tradition at our school we hope to carry on for years to come!
Our Choir, Spanish, and German classes went around the school the day before winter break to sing carols to the school! Teachers and classmates enjoyed the impromptu performances, smiles spreading across their faces as they listened.
Mr. Hansen, our assistant principal, delighted students ans staff before break by showcasing his soprano saxophone skills! He performed popular holiday tunes, drawing everyone together to listen and enjoy. We are so lucky to have such a talented administrator who will share his talents with us!
We had our Winter Assembly this month and it was a blast! We had performances from our choir, boy officers, and cheerleaders. We also played goggle basketball, teacher vs. students snowball fight, and a sledding race with air mattresses! Thanks to our amazing officers for preparing such a fun assembly for us.
Our band and guitar classes have been having a blast lately with a fieldtrip to hear our district marching band, a guitar class where they composed a song, and their first concert of the year!
Here is our Students of the month for november! We are so proud of them and all their accomplishments.
Members of the Utah Dual Immersion Program came to visit NOJH and give certificates to those who have been in the program for 9 and 10 years! What a great accomplishment.
Here are some photos of our awesome NAL team! They worked so hard and we are so proud of them on a great season!
We loved supporting our Lady Knights at their Volleyball games! Congrats on a great season.
