The mission of the WSD Curriculum Department is to ensure high levels of learning for ALL students by providing the best possible resources and support for administrators and teachers.

These programs are the primary resources for each content area. They meet all of the Utah student data privacy requirements and should be the primary resources for teachers and students.W

Kindergarten Google Classroom: Nanci Hart

Organized by day with separate assignments for each activity. Students mark offline assignments as “done” and upload a picture of their handwritten work if possible (appropriate in K and 1st grade).

Kindergarten Weekly Plan: Anne Warner

This weekly plan is shared each week via email to parents. Instructions for games and activities have been sent to parents in advance. Feedback is provided through phone calls, emails, and weekly teacher videos.

1st Grade Google Classroom: Tami Jones

Organized by week with one assignment per day. Everything the student needs for the day is included in a fillable Slide deck. (example lesson).

2nd Grade Google Classroom: Sabrina Smith

Organized by day with a few assignments per day. Each day includes a includes a learning plan that guides students through the assignments for the day. Some days the students are assigned a THEME to learn about instead of completing their regular learning plan. This helps keep learning new and exciting.

2nd Grade Google Classroom: Stephanie Hunde

This classroom is organized by day with one "assignment" per day. The "assignment" includes a description of what learning experiences to be done that day and then all of the needed files. Read-a-louds are embedded in a slide presentation. The math lessons are AMAZING! They cover EngageNY lessons and have been videoed by the teacher.

3rd Grade Google Classroom: Mckenzie Haws

This classroom is organized by week and includes one assignment per day. Everything the student needs for each day is included in a “checkable” slide deck. (example lesson, lesson template by subject)

3rd Grade Google Classroom: Emily Farr

This classroom is organized by day. It includes video announcements that tell students what is required and what is optional each day. Each assignment is listed individually for the day.

3rd Grade Google Classroom: Mike Ivey

This classroom is organized by day. Each content area has one or two separate assignments. A journal prompt each day keeps kids writing. Forms are used to collect student responses to text.

This dual immersion classroom is organized by day. It includes a daily overview, assignments, accountability questions, and a check-in each day for students to complete.
