National Honor Society (NHS) recognizes high school students who excel in scholarship, leadership, service, and character. NHS provides opportunities to develop leadership skills, complete meaningful service projects, and celebrate academic achievement. Psi Alpha is a national honor society for high school students, inviting students who plan to major or minor in psychology, as well as students who simply have an interest in psychology. Our mission is to enhance America’s high school students’ understanding and knowledge of the science of psychology, how psychology benefits society, and career opportunities available in psychology.

The Roy High School Student Government helps lead the school by organizing activities that build school spirit, encourage student involvement, and support a positive school culture. They plan events such as assemblies, dances, spirit weeks, and service projects. Student government also represents the student body by listening to student concerns and working with school administration and teachers to improve the school environment. Through leadership, teamwork, and service, they help create a welcoming and fun school experience for all students.

ESports their mission statement and goal is to "enhance and enrich scholastic experiences through and beyond gaming." Events have esports tournaments for qualifying competitors alongside a large STEM and career fair to try and get students interested in various pathways. Loosely connected to my courses through Game Development but also programming as every esports tournament has competitions for programming and digital media that students are highly encouraged to participate in.
