T.h. Bell Junior High Student government
This site will help you to navigate through the process that you will need to go through to run for 8th grade office, 9th grade office and Student Body Office (SBO) here at Bell. It will also help you to navigate through the process if you are going to run for Sophomore Office at Bonneville.
Please read through all of the material below and fill out the forms below as applicable. This must be done to be eligible for office at Bell or Bonneville.
This site will also be used to publish election results and information. So come back here often if you are running for office!
There are costs associated with being an officer if you are elected. The biggest cost are officers sweaters. If elected a $100 deposit must be paid to secure your sweater being made. The total cost for the sweater ranges from $230 to $250 range depending on the design that is chosen by your group. There is also a district transportation fee of $10.

Please fill out this form so it is known what office or offices you are running for. If you are a 9th grader, please select Sophomore Office at Bonneville. If you are a 7th grader, please select 8th grade office. If you are a 9th grader you can select 9th grade office or Student Body Office (SBO) or both. If you are a 9th grader, I would encourage you to run for both!
You will also need to fill out rules acknowledgment part of the form as well.

Bonneville High school constitution
If you are running for Sophomore Office at Bonneville, then you need to read through this constitution so you understand what is expected. Below you will need to fill out the Bonneville High School Constitution Acknowledgment Form below.

Once you have read through the Bonneville High School Constitution, please fill out this form, so it is known that you have read and understand the Bonneville High School Constitution. This is for anyone running for Sophomore Office at Bonneville.

Anyone who is running for office, whether that is at Bell or Bonneville must fill out this form. You can print this form out and bring it to the office to have them fill out the grayed-out part. You fill out your name at the top and then you and a parent need to sign this.
You can also pick up this form in the office, but you must have it signed by a parent.
The requirements to run for office are as follows:
Citizenship: No more than 2 N's and no U's for the current school year. This covers 1st, 2nd and 3rd term of the current school year.
Academic: Must have maintained a cumulative 3.0 GPA over the first 3 terms of the current school year.
SBO (Student Body Office) Skit guidelines
These are the guidelines for the skit that you will need to create if you make it through the primary election for Student Body Office (SBO). Please follow them or your skit may not be eligible to be shown to the 7th and 8th graders at Bell.
