About Me

I am a Digital Teaching and Learning Specialist in Weber School District located in beautiful northern Utah. I have been married to my wife, Stacy, for 34 years. We have two children and three grandchildren. I enjoy mountain biking, working in my yard, and 3D printing. I started teaching in 1986 and have taught third, fourth, and sixth grades. I am in my 38th year in my district. 

My responsibilities include training educators primarily in the elementary schools in educational technology integration to benefit their students as we move into the new age of artificial intelligence. I train teachers to use and integrate Google Workspace for Education, our Student Information System PowerSchool, Nearpod, SORA online library, WeVideo, Adobe Creative Cloud and Express, Blocksi, the district's Learning Management System Canvas, Remind, the use of Chromebooks, and our Newline display panels. I am also well versed in several artificial intelligence platforms for text, audio, graphic, and video generation. I am currently responsible for providing support for ClassVR, our virtual reality solution, and supporting administrators and teachers beginning with 3D printing. I am also leading the creation and maintenance of our departmental site located at learn.wsd.net.
