In 2003, Dee Winters and Miriam Carson were asked by Union County officials to form a community choir in order to participate in a state-wide bicentennial celebration of Ohio. The group was called the Union County Bicentennial Choir. The choir continued long after that concert and was renamed the Union County Singsations. The group has been going strong for over 20 years and is currently under the direction of Susan Bunsold Wilson. The choir continues to entertain audiences with concerts and semi-staged holiday musicals.
