Class overview
The Specialized Learning Center (SLC) is a classroom devoted to working with students with disabilities. We specialize in interventions to meet all students needs academically, developmentally and socially. Our goal is to create an inclusive learning environment and make school enjoyable for all students!
About us
Allison and Tori are currently the intervention specialists that have been working together since 2014 in the Bluffsview SCLC.
This will be Allison's 17th year of teaching. She began teaching at Bluffsview in 2009 and continues to work in grades K-3. Allison became passionate about working with our population of students from volunteering in a classroom working with disabled students.
This will be Tori's 12th year of teaching. She began her teaching career right out of college in 2014 and has worked at Bluffsview ever since. She became passionate about this work from working closely with a student in college and her love for teaching grew.
