Summer Workouts for Cross Country & Speed Training
This video shows our indoor training for the days you cannot get outside. Cross country team members should attempt to do these a minimum of twice a week.
I want to introduce you to Coach Ralph Jones and thank him for his help in making these videos for us. Mr. Jones interned as a graduate student (OSU) for Mr. Blaine 1999/2000. He was an outstanding college track and field athlete and is the founder and owner of JET (Jones Elite Training) and coaches runners worldwide from beginners to Olympians. Parents please video your child doing these activities so I can share!

Let’s get running!
Map out a mile course with a parent.
Run your course as often as you can.
Have a parent validate your miles weekly by sending an email to Coach Blaine jblaine@wscloud.org
Include your name, grade level next Fall, and number of miles ran for the week. (If new to the team add a parent email)
(OPTIONAL) Send pictures of you running your course to share with the team!
Mr. Blaine and Mrs. Mickey would like you to know about an at home reading incentive program offered by the Columbus Blue Jackets and the Ohio 529 College Advantage Plan. The program, Book Jackets at Home, runs between now and the end of June. Click here for more information and to register your child/children.
