Part/Full Time: Full time (32-40 Hr), remote

Salary/Hourly: Hourly

Reports To: Executive Director

Pay Scale: $28.12 – $32.31 per hour DOE

General Summary

 

Washington State Community Connectors (WSCC) is a 501©3 nonprofit family run organization serving families using behavioral health services. We are a diverse and inclusive community of Washington state parents, caregivers, and behavioral health professionals. While we come from all walks of life, we have something in common—a passion for advocacy and support of other caregivers to children with behavioral health challenges. We are committed to providing training, connection, and collaboration to Washington state families who are seeking family support as well as services and help for their children.

WSCC is a team based, collaborative organization that offers flexible scheduling. The average work week is 32 hours, which we consider full time.

 This position will be responsible for meeting all deliverables for our Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS) contract.


Primary Responsibilities

 

        Preform all requirements of the Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS) contract from the Healthcare Authority(HCA) Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery (DBHR)

        This includes working in partnership with HCA to provide support related to family readiness for the implementation of the 2022-2026 System of Care (SOC) Grant which includes, but is not limited to, Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS) and the co-design of a family work force collaborative, currently referred to as Parent Led Academy.  The work for the Parent Led Academy as outlined in this contract will be to implement the collaborative work plan to be drafted in March 2023.

        Maintain open communication and effective working relationships with fellow staff members based on mutual respect, reasonable and timely expectations that promote a positive working environment.

         Assist in other duties as requested related to project deliverables.


Required Qualifications

 

        Hight School Diploma or GED

        Must identify as a parent or caregiver of a youth or young adult who has accessed behavioral health services and has experienced supporting them to navigate those services.

        Recent/Current management experience: supervision, volunteer management, project management, reporting, budgets, conflict resolution, scheduling, etc.

        Must have great organizational, documenting, communication, and program development skills.

        Ability to be an active listener by asking questions and reflecting on what is being said.

        Proficient level of ability with computer software: Microsoft Office Products, Zoom and Gsuite

        Ability to work both independently and under supervision.

        Ability to maintain healthy boundaries with peers.

        Ability to manage time effectively.


Preferred Qualifications

      Established relationships with local community-based organizations.

  Previous experience working as a Certified Peer Counselor (CPC)
