Goal 2 [Collective Advocacy & Local Control]: Serve as a collective voice for members to promote local control and maximize educational opportunities for all students.
Advocate for adequate, predictable, and equitable funding so boards can provide students with quality educational opportunities.
Protect local control, ensuring boards have the flexibility to represent the specific values and expectations of their communities.
Provide data, information, and training to support local boards and their advocacy efforts, enabling them to fulfill their role as the public voice overseeing the education system.
Highlight student success to recognize the great things happening every day in Wyoming classrooms.
Goal 3 [Professional Support & Member Services]: Provide professional support and services that assist individual board members in fulfilling their trustee obligations.
Provide high-quality services that assist individual board members in managing the practical and ethical obligations of their office.
Ensure members have access to the information and resources required to stay informed, deliberate, and maintain high standards for public accountability.
Strengthen the professional network of school board members across the State to facilitate the sharing of best practices and cooperation.
