About Us

Hello parents and students! I’m Dawn Baker, and I’ve been a paraprofessional at the Middle School for about 10 years. Prior to my position with the Middle School, I was a substitute teacher and volunteer with the district. I have a BS in organic chemistry from Viterbo and am a science and math nerd! My husband and I have a son and daughter who both graduated from West Salem. Now we are empty nesters, kept company by our two dogs, Nikko and Mocha.

My name is Lori Jambois, and I am a paraprofessional at West Salem Middle School. I have a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and I am also a graduate of West Salem High School. (Go Panthers!) This will be my third year working at the Middle School. I am married and have two awesome daughters, Laine and Piper. I also have two dogs and a grouchy old cat. Some of my hobbies include hiking, kayaking, watching movies and playing video games! I also learned how to bake bread over the summer! I am excited and looking forward to the start of school!
