Curriculum Overview
All seventh and eighth grade students in WRSD can take Spanish as a world language. If you attend Mountview, you have the choice to take French. If you attend Central Tree, you have the choice to take German. Both years in seventh and eighth grade equate to one year of high school study. With a successful achievement score on the eighth grade placement test, students may be eligible to begin Spanish 2, French 2, or German 2 at WRHS.
Curriculum Vision
From the MA Frameworks
All Massachusetts students will acquire a high level of linguistic and cultural proficiency in at least one world language.
