A Unique Budget Year

Three unusual conditions are having a positive effect on the FY27 WRSD Budget

• Substantial reduction in Special Education out-of-district tuitions

• Substantial reduction in health insurance costs

• Temporary surplus in available Circuit Breaker funds

The overall impact on our FY27 Budget is enormous and will not happen again.  This is likely the only opportunity we will have to hold overall town assessment increases below 4%.  We continue to be grateful for the support of our member towns and hope that this year's very modest budget incease will be helpful to our municipal partners.
