The Wachusett Pathways Program (formerly known as the Wachusett Partnership Program) provides students with an exciting opportunity to explore college majors and career paths while still in high school. Students can choose from nine career-focused pathways, each offering a sequence of electives and required courses that combine classroom learning with real-world applications.
WPP ensures that students gain valuable career-ready skills and practical life experience, making them more competitive for job applications, college admissions, and scholarships. Participants have access to guaranteed seats in required courses, hands-on projects, field trips, guest speakers, and robust resume-building opportunities. Students who complete their chosen pathway earn a WPP Certificate of Completion, signaling their dedication and focused learning. This program aligns seamlessly with MyCAP, empowering students to set and achieve personalized academic and career goals while gaining hands-on experience in their chosen fields.
Pathways include Automotive Technology, Business (Finance and Marketing), Computer Science, Criminal Justice, Digital Art & Design, Education, Engineering Technology, and Health Science. By enrolling in WPP, students can explore their interests, gain critical skills, and prepare to further their education or enter the workforce.
