SEL4MA is supporting legislation to ensure educator licensure requirements include SEL, to promote SEL training for preschool educators and prevent preschool expulsions, and to correct an outdated education funding formula to ensure that school districts have appropriate resources to educate the whole child. We recently held a forum in partnership with Senate President Karen E. Spilka on SEL strategies for effective SEL implementation and a seminar on SEL in action for teacher educators.
