ABOUT MRS. BENEDICT
2023-2024 is my fifth year teaching at Mountview Middle School. Before teaching here, I was a long term substitute at Central Tree Middle School and Oakham Center School. Prior to these positions, I received my Masters of Education from Boston College and my Bachelor of Arts in History from Northeastern University. Outside of the classroom, I am involved with Camp Putnam & the Herren Project Club.
In my free time, I enjoy running, gardening, reading, going to Dunkin', playing Settlers of Catan, watching New England sports, and snuggling with my cat Macy.
I absolutely LOVE teaching 6th graders. They have bountiful curiosity-- which is essential in studying the past. I strive to create a learning environment in which ALL students can be successful and develop a love for history.
