I want my students to love coming to my class knowing that they are safe and welcome.

 I want my students to feel comfortable taking chances and understand that we all make mistakes.

I want my students to set goals for themselves and strive to meet them.

I want my students to enjoy participating and sharing their thoughts and opinions.

I want my students to keep an open mind and listen to what others have to say.

I want my students to look back and remember a short story, novel, poem, or play that we read together.

I want my students to continue improving their skills in writing.

I want my students to have fun and be able to learn something new.

And lastly, I want my students to "Stay Gold."
