Early College Pathway at Wachusett Regional High School
Early College Pathway at Wachusett Regional High School
Early College at Wachusett Regional High School gives students the chance to take real college classes while still in high school. Through this pathway, students can earn free college credits, explore interests and possible careers, and build confidence in their ability to succeed in college level work. Early College is open to all students and is designed to support you every step of the way with advising, academic supports, and caring adults who want to see you succeed. Whether you know exactly what you want to do after high school or are still figuring it out, Early College helps you get a head start, try new opportunities, and graduate feeling prepared for what comes next.
The purpose of the Early College Initiative is to create and maintain partnerships that connect our state’s districts and high schools with its colleges, providing thousands of Massachusetts students, especially first-generation college students, with access to college completion and career success.
The Massachusetts Commonwealth Dual Enrollment Partnership (CDEP) offers opportunities for Massachusetts high school students to take college-level courses at no cost or a reduced rate, earning credit toward both high school completion and future college degrees.
