Hello! My name is Rachel Stringer-Grimsley (also known as, Mrs. Stringer-G) and I am honored to be the music teacher at Dawson Elementary School. I have always paired my love for music with school, education, and making memories. I am passionate about sharing my love for music with my students.

I grew up in Vermont and have moved around the country as a educational professional making music with students in New York, Colorado, Wyoming and Massachusetts. I hold a dual Bachelors of Music from The Crane School of Music and a Bachelors of Arts in Education at SUNY Potsdam. I also have a Masters of Arts in Music from Columbia University.

I have been working in the field of education, specifically the music classroom, since 2003. I am fortunate to have found my way to Holden and have loved all that this community has to offer. I moved my own family to the Wachusett district in 2019 and look forward to many more wonderful years of making music at Dawson!
