Lunchtime Recitals

The last Tuesday and Thursday of each term. Coming back soon...

Two lunchtime recitals. One for Lower School lunchtime and one for Upper School lunchtime. A recital is open to all students from years 7 to 13, even staff if they wish to perform something. Look out for announcements and when it will start back.

Students still need to sign up with Mr Thompson and only four to five slots are available due to the limited time available during lunch.

Things to note:

Doors open to audience at 1:10pm
Performers and audience members can eat in music so long as they keep the room tidy and take mess with them
Performers should arrive early so they are ready and can set up or rehearse their piece/s
Performers can get lunch passes on the day of the recital to avoid queuing for lunch, allowing them time to arrive early and set up and/or rehearse

Finally...

Make sure you get an audience! it's your responsibility - no one likes to perform to an empty room - trust me. We will get you a small crowd as a starter but tell your friends that you are performing and invite them. Just note that we have a maximum capacity of around 50 in the music room
