The #SaveNEA Poetry Project

On the night of June 4, to protest the sudden cancellation of NEA grants and the proposed closing of the agency, a coterie of WDA members convened in Southwest DC to project lines of poetry onto the walls of NEA headquarters. Many of the poems displayed were submitted by WDA members; others were excerpted from the work of poets and artists no longer with us.
