What is SHSM?

Specialist High Skills Major allows grade 11 and 12 students to focus their studies on an employment sector they are interested in while working towards a specified pathway of apprenticeship, college, university, or workplace. As an SHSM student, you will:

• Take a bundle of courses related your sector

• Participate in a co-operative education placement in your sector

• Earn your Standard First Aid and C-CPR certification.

• Earn specialized certifications related to your sector.

• Experience awesome field trips that will help you test drive your career!
