As Co-mayor my goal is to make your high school experience as enjoyable as possible. I believe the key to doing so is by giving everyone the opportunity to contribute and to share their ideas. Even though this year will look a little different I'm hoping to make the WCI viking community as strong as ever so we can have a more united WCI in person and online.

Hey Vikes! My name is Sara and I am one of your Co-Mayors this year. Here are a few things about me...

• I've played hockey for the Waterloo Ravens for 11 years

• I'm a camp counsellor during the summer up north at Camp Wabanaki

• My favourite WCI events have been Athletic Banquet, Relay for Life and Niner Night

• I'm a dog person

My position as a Co-Mayor is mainly overlooking the leadership events and activities at WCI as well as representing our school at the WRDSB, running the wci socials and speaking at events. Even though this year is going to look really different than previous years, we are going to make the best out of the situation and bring you cool events & activities online! I hope to see you all sometime soon!

Hi friends im Abbey, I like cats, crocs and sleep. My favourite movie is Paul Blart Mall Cop. I basically do a lot of behind the scenes work and help steer my comittee in the right direction while making sure everything will run and play out smoothly. Super excited for this year I hope you all adjust easily into this new chapter in your life!!!XD

Hello, I'm Luke and I am one of your arts directors for the 2020-2021 school year. There is definitely no lack of amazing artistic talent and skill at WCI which makes my job very exciting. I am delighted to be your arts liaison, ensuring a fulfilling and memorable year full of events and opportunities that celebrate all the artistic talent at our school. Even though circumstances are different than normal at the moment I assure you that the arts community at WCI will remain as creative and amazing as ever.

Hi, I'm Alaina, one of your 2020-2021 arts directors and a member of the WCI dance team! With such amazing arts talent across WCI there is no lack of arts events throughout our year! My all time favourite arts event is our annual Arts and Cultures Festival which brings our whole school together through a show of music, dance and drama. As well as the arts events, a few of my other all time fav events would be Grade Nine Party and Semi. Despite this years new circumstances I am hoping to continue to bring the arts community in WCI together.

Hey Guys! My name is Juliana and I am super excited to be one of your Student Life Directors! As a Senior I have learnt a lot over the years and cant wait to help plan whats in store for you guys. As you know the circumstances are a little different but we will work twice as hard to insure you guys have the best experience possible. I am in charge of our schools special events and integrating our school community. I'm hyped to show off some school spirit and for where this year will take us, and you should be too!

Hello! I'm Salma and I'm one of your Student Life Directors this year. I am so excited to meet new people this year and implement some new idea that I had to make WCI a better school! As a Student Life Director, it is important to me to better the school community and make sure that students are update and aware of what's going on. With the help of the events committee I organize and make sure all events go as planned. Even though some events may be different than past years we're pumped to see how everything turns out!

Hi guys! My name is Mikayla and I'm in grade twelve. I'm one of your Events Directors for 2020/2021 and I can't wait for an exciting year! As an events director I help to organize and schedule all of the events, as well as ensuring they run smoothly and listening to the student body on ways that we can improve your experience in the future. This includes dances, spirit days, assemblies, and many more. Although this year will look different than those we've had in the past, we're looking forward to making the most of our opportunity to be together.

Hey vikes, My name is Oliver Duff and I'm a senior at WCI and also one of your athletic director for this upcoming school year. I can't wait for the start of school to meet all you guys and have a great first day. With the help of the athletic committee we organize and makes sure the events go as planned. We hope too come up with different ideas to keep you guys active within the guide lines. Hey Vikes! My name is Trent Frede and I'm a senior student and I will be one of your athletic directors for the 2020-21 school year. I am super pumped to get back to school and reconnect with the viking community and meet all you new grade nines. Oliver and myself as athletic directors alongside the athletic committee help to run events involving athletics. We are here to make your athletic journey at WCI the best that it can be.
