RESOURCE Centre - Room 3119
Resource is a non-credit–bearing space that provides students low ratio support as well as a lower sensory environment for academic and socio-emotional assistance. Students with a scheduled Resource period are supported in the following manners:
academic and socio-emotional support
test-taking, assignment chunking, writing and study skills coaching
information about services in the community
check-ins and in-risk intervention meetings

Secondary Learning Strategies (GLE) Course
for students with an Individual Education Plan (IEP)
This course focuses on learning strategies to help students become better, more independent learners. Students will learn how to develop and apply literacy and numeracy skills, personal management skills, and interpersonal and teamwork skills to improve their learning and achievement in school, the workplace, and the community. The course helps students build confidence and motivation to pursue opportunities for success in secondary school and beyond. Students may earn up to four GLE credits in their secondary career.
