Grade 1 & 2 - Please practice the UFLI home practice sheet with your child. This is our main language focus every week. It comes home every Monday attached to their previous week's UFLI Progress Monitoring. We are enjoying our language centers - reading passages that follow our UFLI plan, working on our heart words, and working on reading comprehension & fluency.

We are practicing our writing in our journals, math, science and social studies activities. 

Grade 1 & 2 - We will work on our unit on money management 

Grade 1 & 2 - We are doing learning and activities around healthy habits (play, screen time, leisure activities), proper use of substances (prescription vs. non-prescription medication).

Grade 1 & 2 - We are working on using a parachute and learning different games and coreographed routines we can do with it. We're having a lot of fun!

Drama will be addressed in Term 2

Grade 1 & 2 - We will be looking at different ways we can move our body in different dance phrases.
