Billy

Hospital Manager

Billy Hess has worked at WPVH for over ten years after retiring from playing international baseball. He holds an MBA and is passionate about the WPVH core values. He is the son to the founders of WPVH Dr. and Mrs. Hess and is dedicated to carry on the legacy that they built to be a company focused on compassion and respect.

In his free time Billy loves to travel with his wife, Eva, and play golf any and everywhere he can.

Dr. Hellenga

Medical Director

Dr. Caitrine Hellenga is a 1998 graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. She came to Winter Park Veterinary Hospital after graduation and practiced here for 9 years. She returned as the medical director after working at a 24hr hospital in St. Louis. She is straightforward and compassionate, creating lasting relationships with clients and patients.

In her free time Dr.Hellenga loves to practice yoga and cuddle with her two chugs.

Lauren

Asst. Hospital Manager & Human Resources

Lauren is an Orlando native and has been at WPVH since she was 16. She worked with Jean Hess to build what we know as WPVH. She is the human resources manager and helps to oversee our Boarding facility and Play camp.

In her free time she enjoys being a plant-mom and adding to her collection.

Jacky

Operations Manager

Jacky is a fur-mom and a mom to her little boy. She has been at Winter Park Vet for over 10 years. She started at WPVH as a CSR and has worked to shape the modern WPVH. She is the CSR manager and oversees our kennel and Play Camp with Lauren.

In her free time she loves to travel and make memories with her family.

Karla

Medical Operations Manager

Karla is a Guatemalan/Cuban, Miami native, who has been in the veterinary field for 12 years and started as a veterinary technician; she just celebrated her two year anniversary at WPVH and Orlando, FL. She has an M.S in Psychology and is passionate about the wellbeing of the WPVH staff. She is the technician manager and oversees the pharmacy and the WPVH Wellness Center.

In her free time she enjoys singing and crafting.
