Submit your application and all required documents directly through the scholarship providerβs website or mailing address.
Keep a copy of everything you submit (essay, transcript, recommendation letters, confirmation emails).
Pay close attention to deadlines β late applications are not accepted.

CAWG Foundation Scholarship
The purpose of the CAWG Foundation Scholarship is to provide awards to children of California winegrape grower employees to support their pursuit of higher education.
Award:
Two 4-year scholarships of $8,000 (for students attending a UC or CSU)
Four 2-year scholarships of $2,000 (for students attending a California community college)
Eligibility:
Applicant must be a graduating high school senior.
Parent or legal guardian must be employed by a California winegrape grower.

Hagan Scholarship
The Hagan Scholarship is a national, need-based merit award designed to help students graduate college debt-free.
Award: Up to $7,500 per semester for up to 8 consecutive semesters
Eligibility Highlights:
β’ Must attend a high school in the U.S. (public, private, charter, magnet, or STEM)
β’ Must have achieved at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA
β’ Must enroll in a 4-year college/university immediately after high school
β’ Parentsβ 2024 Adjusted Gross Household Income must not exceed $100,000
β’ Applicants must work 240 hours from January 1 to September 1 before enrollment

Eligibility: U.S. residents within an AWS district; must pursue a welder training certificate program less than 2 years (cannot use for associate/bachelor programs)

Capt. Sax Foundation Aviation Scholarship
Offered by the Capt. Sax Foundation to support students pursuing careers in aviation, aeronautical science, engineering, pilot training, or other aviation-related fields.
Award Range: $500 β $5,000
Who Can Apply:
Current or future aviators needing support for licenses, certifications, ratings, flight hours, or aviation degree programs.
Students studying at colleges/programs in aeronautical science, engineering, or other aviation fields.
Important Dates:
Application deadline: December 15, 2025
Selections: January 15 β December 15 (rolling basis)

Fill out the foundationβs online application form. Applicants will share their story, goals, funding need, training plan, past challenges, and aviation aspirations.

The Schwab-Rosenhouse Memorial Scholarship supports graduating high school seniors pursuing higher education at colleges, universities, or vocational/technical schools located within 100 miles of Sacramento. Awards are based on academic achievement, community service, financial need, and future goals.

The CalHOPE Courage Award Scholarship Program will award $75,000 to California high school senior student-athletes and high school athletic departments.
Twenty-five (25) California high school senior student-athletes who have overcome personal adversity will each receive a $2500 college scholarship while $500 will also be donated to their high schoolβs athletic departments.
The CalHOPE Courage Award Scholarship Program is supported by the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS), which oversees CalHOPE, and endorsed by the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF).
Tri Counties Bank Scholarship
At Tri Counties Bank, the mission is to improve the financial success and well-being of people throughout Northern and Central California. In partnership with the Community Foundation of the North State, Tri Counties Bank awards $110,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors planning to attend a community college, trade school, or four-year university.

Columbia Bank Kenneth R. Gifford, Jr. Memorial Scholarship Program
The Columbia Bank Kenneth R. Gifford, Jr. Memorial Scholarship Program awards ten $1,000 scholarships each year to high school seniors attending school in Siskiyou, Shasta, Tehama, Glenn, Colusa, Placer, and Sacramento Counties.
This scholarship reflects Columbia Bankβs commitment to community enrichment and support for education, empowering deserving students to achieve their academic and professional goals. The program recognizes the vital role of education in strengthening the communities they serve.
