Welcome to Third Grade

Welcome to 3rd Grade!

We are excited to begin a new year that will be full of exciting new learning experiences! Here are a few tidbits of information to help you navigate the first few days of school.

*School begins at 8:15. On the first day only, students will come directly to the classroom, and there will be no before school recess. Beginning on the second day of school, the blacktop will be open at 7:55. Students will go directly to recess and we will pick them up at our line (205) when the bell rings at 8:10. Students will be tardy after 8:15.

*Please send a healthy snack with your child every day, especially if they are getting hot lunch.

*At the end of the day, students will be excused directly from the classroom.

*Nightly math fact homework will begin on Monday, 8/19. It will be due the following day.

*Back to School Night/Meet the Teachers is Tuesday 8/13. Drop in between 5:30-6:30. Please stop by with your student to meet us! You can bring your school supplies if you have them.

In addition to the 3rd grade supply list, we are requesting the following:

-(2) 1 inch binders labeled with student name

-(2) packages wide ruled binder paper

-1 box bandaids

-1 additional 4x6 pencil box. Please put all colored pencils and markers in one box, and crayons in the other. All other supplies will be community supplies.

All supplies will be collected at Back to School Night.

Please fill out the "Tell Me About Your Child" survey under the Parents Tab on this website BEFORE the first day of school.
