I interpreted the assignment exploration as an opportunity to have people take a look into my world of the small details that make up the things that are important to me (cars, computers). What many people do when they see these complex mechanisms they see the machine itself, but they don't see it for the individual complex parts of it and that is what my photos are expressing, the complexity of all these machines that are often overlooked. I used a macro lens to really get in there and be able to put great quality on such small things, the macro lens allows for greater zoom while maintaining great quality. I chose to print SSD because I feel it is the photo I was looking for when I first had the idea of the assignment while having many other unexpected but welcome qualities. SSD showcases many parts emphasizing the diverse parts, each part juxtaposes the other by all doing their own individual thing that is so different but they all work together, it consists of an SSD (storage), cooling fan, motherboard, OS drive, GPU (graphics), and many other parts that I don't even know what they are or do. The other good qualities that are unrelated is the depth of field it has with the fan on the left side, the texture shown on the motherboard with the ridges, and the reflection of some of the parts on gpu at the bottom.
