When I was photographing I was trying to get a new perspective on dogs, specifically my german shepherd. Some see german shepherds as scary and fierce, but I want people to see the personality she has and how she is not scary. Overall, I wanted my photos to show expression and have a story that the person looking on can interpret, each person can see the photo in a different way and that is what I want. As a technical and compositional approach I took most photos outside for contrast, I used fill the frame in some. I used a quick shutter speed to not get any blur, also so that I don't get too much light because there was a lot of light outside while I was shooting. In the process I learned how different angles and how close I am to the subject the more powerful I can make my message.
This photo of my dog I used fill the frame to get all the details and emotions from my dog.
