STUDENT INSTRUCTIONS (For SEAL OF BILITERACY TESTING)
Step 1: Log in to your computer/laptop
Step 2: Go to the following link: https://app.avantassessment.com/tech-check and make sure:
A. Pop-ups are enabled
B. You can hear all the sounds
C. You can record and hear your own voice.
If pop ups are disabled or blocked look in the address bar and find the small block with a small red x. Click on it and select "Always allows pop ups on..."
Step 3: Go to the following link: https://app.avantassessment.com/test. The teacher is going to give you a Test Code and a Password.
STEP 4 VARIES FOR DIFFERENT EXAMS:
**Step 4 (For SEAL OF BILITERACY - NOT FINAL EXAM): You will now create your login information:
Your user ID will be as follows
UNLIKE other tests, THIS tests asks you to create your own user ID. When asked to create your Test Taker ID follow these steps:
Course and Section Aspen Code (your teacher will give you this)
A dash -
Student Last Name
Student First Initial
Teacher will provide Aspen Course ID, write it on your ticket sheet.
SAMPLE (DO NOT COPY THIS EXACTLY): If your class is Spanish 5 Honors class and section is: 3442-001, and YOUR NAME is John Doe:
THEN your SAMPLE ID would look like this: 3442-001-doej
(All lowercase!)
You must remember your login in case you need to come back to the test!
**Step 4 (For FINAL EXAMS June 2024)
Your user ID will be as follows:
Course Aspen Code (your teacher will give you this)- Student Last Name - Student First Initial
For example: Spanish 2 Honors class and section is 3142-001, and student is John Doe
3142-001-doej
Step 5: You will need the teacher to give you the Test Code and Password. That information will be on the board.
If you are trying for the Seal of Biliteracy you will take all four domains (Reading/Writing and Listening/Speaking).
If you are taking the STAMP test for Wilmington Public Schools Speaking and Listening Performance Assessments, you will ONLY be taking Listening/Speaking.
You cannot use any resources like links, translators, or support websites/apps.
